Who is behind that mess.
Great, you found the about us page. Hopefully this page will give you a better idea on what kind of people we are. There are two people who made all this happen. Let’s give the lady the first word:
Estefania:
Hola my name is Estefania and I’m one of the writers and creators of this website. I have a big personality, like to joke around, basically you could just say: I love to have a good time. My life has given me some great and not so great experiences.
Right now I’m still going to High-school and learning to become a technician, so if you ever have problems changing a light bulb – ask me! If I look in my future I don’t see me working as a technician, but maybe full filling my dream and becoming a Spanish or English teacher.
Everything I know about computers and English I basically thought myself, therefore I’m always open to any suggestions.
Thomas:
Yay, finally it’s my turn to speak. My name is Thomas. I’m currently studying software development in ITESCA Obregon Sonora. This is my first semester at this University; actually it’s my first time that I attend a university at all. And the best part about all that is that I don’t speak Spanish, yes you guessed right my courses are all held in Spanish. A big passion of me is cooking and eating Mexican food. Maybe we’ll be lucky and my host mom will share some ancient Mexican recipes with me, that I then can put on this website for you guys to cook.
I don’t have any experience in writing a blog – actually writing at all, but I’ll try my best to write clear and understandable. It could get a bit tricky, because , I like commas and hate periods!
My life has given me many great moments, thanks to some lucky circumstances I’ve been able to travel all around the USA, some part of Mexico and Europe. Both Europe and USA have been nice, but I still fell in love with the different faces of Mexico (desert, rainforest, oceans).
Before all this I worked as a ‘student apprentice’, finished my High-school and got my exam as a ‘media technical assistant’. While getting the exam I did a few certificates that prove that I’m capable of using a computer, internet, Powerpoint and Word.
What is this website for?
Let’s start by explaining a bit about this website. Over the last few years blogs have been jumping out of the now where, literally every second. But we weren’t able to find a proper Blog or Website that talks about life in Obregon Sonora and its surrounding areas - in English. That’s why we decided to take it in our own hands and start a blog. We didn’t want to limit the blog only to information around Obregon, but also include personal experiences that we made while living and studying here.

The next thing you should know is that we both aren’t web designers and therefore – this layout of the website might be disgusting to you. If that is the case we really hope that you let us know. We tried to make this page as simple as possible, but sadly while making the CSS we kind of took the wrong colors, that’s why the website now is blue – a very light blue.
The web 2.0 has become a bigger and bigger part in our community and way of life. That’s why we couldn’t let our fingers out of it totally. Yes, we have flicker, twitter, some other accounts and now even a BLOG. But we should never forget the value of a real letter.
